Serene Scents

My hands down all time favorite personal scents are Jo Malone. If you have never heard of them, smelled them or tried them, you absolutely must without question! There is something sublime about the incredibly diverse fragrances she has created. In my opinion, something spectacular and vastly different from the other fragrances on the market. My personal favorite is a deep, dark, fruity scent called Pomegranate Noir, though there are many more I adore almost as much. The line even wants you to get creative, and encourages fragrance blending! This art allows you to create your own unique singular scent, something that would result in certain hideousness if it were attempted with most any other fragrance lines.

I believe Holt Renfrew is the sole Canadian distributer of Jo Malone products. In the US they can be found in stand-alone Jo Malone shops as well as some select department stores.

In 1999, Jo Malone sold her fragrance empire to Estee Lauder, she stayed on as creative director until 2006, when she proceeded to take a break from the business. However, she says she never stopped dreaming of new fragrance combinations, it was simply a passion she was compelled to nurture.

Here is the interesting part...  She has decided to start a new fragrance company called Jo Loves. Exciting!!!! - sends chills down my spine (I too have a very close relationship with delightful scents). I know she has more than peaked my interest! I cannot wait for the launch, which is slated to take place sometime this fall.
